Biographical Note

Erich Paul (b. 1943) was born on 23 July 1943 in Los Angeles, California. From 1971 to 1976, Paul attended Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana, where he received his master's and Ph.D. in the history and philosophy of science. From 1983 to 1984, he attended the American University, Washington, D.C., where he earned a master's degree of computer science. From 1983 to 1984, Paul worked as an adjunct associate professor of computer science at the American University. Then in 1989 to 1990, he worked as an adjunct associate professor of philosophy at Utah State University. He began working at the Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, in 1991.
