Guide to the DeVed-Thorne Studio negative collection

 Collection
Identifier: P0272

Scope and Contents

The Thorne Photo Studio/Deved collection (P0272), has been deaccessioned and transferred to the Uintah County Library Regional Room in Vernal, Utah. The Special Collections Department, J. Willard Marriott Library, University of Utah, retains copies of some images but the collection no longer resides at the University of Utah. Anyone with questions about images in the Thorne Photo Studio/Deved Collection should contact the Uintah County Library Regional Room, at (435) 789-0091, or visit their website at http://www.uintah.lib.ut.us

This is an alphabetical listing of the collection we received from the Thorne studio in Vernal Utah. When the collection was received, it contained an index to most of the photographs in the collection. However, due to the size of the collection and the number of people involved with it, the spelling of names and places may not be entirely correct. Because the index was handwritten, there was quite a broad margin for error. This listing is as complete and correct as was possible, given the circumstances and time involved.
