The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service would like to donate these photographs to the Special Collections of Marriott Library. The photographs include color slides, color prints, and black and white prints taken in the 50s and 60s. The subjects are primarily Federal Water projects built in Utah and Colorado under the Central Utah Water Project and other programs. Some of the photographs are of drainages before major dam projects were built. We also have several file folders of black and White aerial photographs. Most of the slides and prints are labeled as to subject date, and location. we believe these photos will be useful to researchers because they are labeled so well. We would like these photos to be accessible to the public under the normal restrictions the Archives uses to protect and preserve photographs.

Abstract
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service photograph collection includes color slides, color prints, and black and white prints taken in the 50s and 60s. The subjects are primarily Federal Water projects built in Utah and Colorado under the Central Utah Water Project and other programs. Some of the photographs are of drainages before major dam projects were built.
Arrangement
P0684 is partially processed. The boxes/folders are labeled according to the original organization of the slides as they were given to the library. However, this is not a permanent organization. It is recommended to put the folders in alphabetical order. The subject matter is focused (as described in inventory) so just a semblance of order is all that is needed.

Donated by U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
