Scope and Contents

The Alta Club is one of the oldest "Gentlemen's Clubs" in Utah. Many prominent non-LDS in Salt Lake City belonged to the Club; consequently, the photos are portraits of many of well-known figures in business, banking and mining. The photos are encased in large, leather binders.
