Historical Note
The United Nations Association of Utah (UNAU) was previously known as the Utah Association for the United Nations. This organization is a division of the UN. It is an autonomous state organization with its own program, but with its members participating as members of the American Association for the UN. The UNAU has an educational program built to inform and mobilize public opinion of the UN. It mainly functions to build support for constructive U.S. policies on matters of global concern. The majority of the members come from the metropolitan Salt Lake City area, some from Provo and Logan, and another group comes from Ogden.
