Biographical Note
Ray Iwao Nagasawa sat as the co-chairman of the Nisei Invitational Basketball tournament from 1953-1960, and during that time he arranged the tournament schedules and finances. Ray also contributed information about the games to newspapers. He was married to Margine Mutsuko Sako Nagasawa, and together they ran the Sunrise Fish Market and Sunrise Restaurant. Margine died on October 2, 2014.

Abstract

The collection also includes financial documents relating to the Invitational and the Sunrise Market, as well as two pains of gimbu pants.
