The Ray Grass papers consist of several media and competition guides as well as several programs and articles. Additionally contained in the papers are several ski resort maps and guides from places mostly in Utah as well as some maps from resorts outside of Utah.

Biographical Note

Ray Grass was the former outdoor editor for Utah's Deseret News. The writer specializes in ski related subjects and currently documents the skiing in Utah.

The Ray Grass papers (1937-2011) consist of various competitive and recreational ski guides, programs, and articles collected by the sports writer.

Arrangement

Documents are arranged first with any articles, magazines, or programs at all level related to competitive skiing. These documents are followed by all media guides for competitive skiing. Final documents relate to recreational skiing such as guides and ski resort maps.
