Biographical Note

Richard D. Westwood (1929-1995) was a businessman and the owner/operator of Westwood's Cafe and bus depot, located in Provo, Utah. Westwood was born on March 27, 1929 in Long Beach, California and served in Japan during the Korean War. After the war, Westwood renovated his parent's closed root beer stand and established Westwood's Cafe. The cafe (and later Greyhound bus depot) operated from the mid-1950s until the early 1980s.

The Richard D. Westwood papers (1954-2011) contains menus, advertising, news clippings, stationary, and post cards for Westwood's Cafe located in Provo, Utah. Also enclosed are memorabilia and general information for the Greyhound bus depot that was attached to the cafe.
