Biographical Note

David Cornelius Hess was born in Farmington, Davis, Utah Territory on August 16, 1865 to John W Hess and Caroline Workman. Hess was called to serve missions for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to the southern states (1895 and 1930) and to San Francisco, California (1929).
