Biograophical Note
Sarah "Sally" Cousins Elliott was born in Oklahoma and moved to Park City, Utah in 1985. Elliott became a ski instructor where she gained an appreciation for Park City and its recreational features. Elliott continued to be an active member of various Park City Councils such as the Citizens Open Space Advisory Committee and also became a Commissioner for the Summit County Commission.

Abstract
The Sally Cousins Elliott papers (1972-1997) contain an account of Elliott's career as a ski instructor during the 1985s-1990s as well as her participation with the Amateur Ski Instructors Association (ASIA) and the Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA).
Arrangement
This collection is organized first, with teaching material in chronological order followed by ski topics in alphabetical order. Final documents include various types of teaching booklets as well as association documents.

This collection was donated by Sally Elliott in 2008.

Photographs have been transferred to the Multimedia Division of Special Collections (P1545).
