Biographical Note

Garrett was a botany professor who taught for East High School and Brigham Young University (BYU). He was consulted by various professors and botanists around the nation for his authority in Western American flora. Besides teaching, Garett also did work in regards to plant identification and classification both privately and through various agencies.
