Abstract

The Mead Leroy Jensen papers (1949-2006) contain mining ledgers, corespondence, publications by Jensen and collaborating authors, and manuscripts for Jensen's work. The ledgers in this collection contain survey information, sketches, and brief journal entries about various mining sites in the Western United States. Other materials in this collection focus on mining and mineral research. Jensen (1925-1997) is known for his work in geology and mineral economics, and has published books and articles on these topics.
