Biographical Note

Parley A. Christensen (1888-1968) was the Chair of the English Department at BYU. He married Ruth Jones (1889-1989) in 1915, and there is a memorial award, the Parley A. and Ruth J. Christensen Memorial Award set up for incoming English majors every year.
