Lynn Matthews Anderson papers
Collection
Identifier: ACCN 1934
Scope and Contents
The Lynn Matthews Anderson papers (1988-1996) contain drafts of her book, The Easy-To-Read Book of Mormon, A Learning Companion, correspondence and newspaper clippings. Lynn Matthews Anderson wrote the book in an attempt to make The Book of Mormon more accessible to her children. To do this, she simplified some sentences, and used modern forms of verbs, pronouns, and sentence structure instead of the nineteenth-century language used in the original text.
