Biographical / Historical
Harold Judd Goodro (1916-2000) was born 15 February 1916 in Magna, Utah, to Peter Joseph and Clara Judd Goodro. He began skiing at age 12, helped to organize the first ski club at West High in the 1930s, and was a founding member of Alta Ski Patrol in 1938. Goodro worked for Utah Power and Light Company for forty years. After putting his children through college he attended the University of Utah and received degrees in Speech, Technical Theater, Speech Communications, and Physical Education. Goodro was an instructor in the Department of Recreation and Leisure, as well as coordinator of the Outdoor Adventures Program. He died in Salt Lake City on 17 April 2000.

Abstract
The Harold Judd Goodro papers (1946-1997) contain biographical information, news clippings, and copies of the Wasatch Rambler. Goodro helped to organize the first ski club at Salt Lake City's West High School in the 1930s and he was a founding member of the Alta Ski Patrol in 1938. He worked for Utah Power and Light Co. for forty years and was an instructor in the Dept. of Recreation and Leisure at the University of Utah, as well as coordinator of the Outdoor Adventures Program.
