Biographical Sketch

Lynn Stegner has written under three names: Lynn H. Moultray, Lynn M. Moultry-Talman, and Lynn Stegner. She was born in Seattle Washington, and graduated from the University of California. She was married to Page Stegner, and together they have a daughter, Allison. She has been a writer and a teacher of writing in various colleges throughout her career. A winner of many awards, she has also written several novels, essays, and non-fiction.
