Biographical Sketch

The Utah Peace and Freedom Party (1967-1970) was established during the era of tensions in the United States during the Vietnam War. The Utah Peace and Freedom Party was a branch of the National Peace and Freedom Party, which was established in about twenty states. The platform of the party stressed concerns over the Vietnam War, racism, and the testing of biological, chemical, and nuclear weapons.
