The Susanna Bransford Emery-Holmes scrapbook [microform] (1902-1906) consist of clippings from Salt Lake City papers and a few other sources regarding her and husband (Holmes), and their interests and activities in the city. Documented are the planning and construction of the Bransford (later the Eagle Gate) Apartments in Salt Lake City, her home (Gardo House), and silver mining in Utah.

Biographical Sketch
Susanna Bransford married a Utah mining engineer, Richard Emery, who later discovered the famed Silver King Mine. Emery became the partner in the mine with Thomas Kearns. Susanna acquired the title of Utah's "Silver Queen," a sobriquet she carried throughout her life. After Emery's death, she married Col. Edwin F. Holmes. Several years after leaving Utah following Holmes' death, she married a Russian count, Engalitschev, and died in Salt Lake City in the 1930s.
