Biographical Sketch

V. Douglas Snow (b. 1927) had his earliest training in theater, but he then moved on to art. He studied at the University of Utah, New York's American Art School, Columbia University, and received his B.F.A. and M.F.A. from the Academy of Art in Michigan. He taught at Stanford University (1952), Wayne State University (1952-1954), and the University of Utah. He was chairman of the University of Utah's Art Department from 1966 to 1971. He is best known in Utah for his murals.
