Scope and Contents

The J. K. Whitney correspondence (1865-1866) consist of three short letters to Horace K. Whitney of Salt Lake City from his brother, J. K. Whitney, who was serving a mission for the LDS Church in Dundee, Scotland. The subject matter of the letters includes landscape similarities between Scotland and Salt Lake City, number of converts, religion in Scotland, and receiving news from home.
