Twenty-four hour advanced notice encouraged. Materials must be used on-site. Access to parts of this collection may be restricted under provisions of state or federal law.

The a letter from Daniel Hammer Wells has been placed in Reserve. Box 1, folder 1 contains a photocopied version for access purposes. Access to the original must be given by the Manuscripts Curator and by appointment. An archivist must remain with the item if being used.

Biographical Sketch

Frank Fuller was born in 1827 in Boston, Massachusetts. He was trained and then practiced as a dentist and physician in his home state. He moved to New Hampshire to work as a reporter and typesetter. There he became active in politics which led to his appointment as secretary of Utah Territory. In addition to being secretary and then governor of Utah Territory, he was also a lawyer, author, railroad man, military organizer, and businessman. Frank Fuller died in 1915.
