Biographical Note

Francis M. Wikstrom was born in Montana and grew up in Ogden, Utah. While currently a trial lawyer for the Salt Lake City firm, Parsons Behl, and Latimer, Wikstrom is also an avid skier and was formerly a ski instructor. Wikstrom was a certified ski instructor and the former president of the Professional Ski Instructors of America.

Abstract

The Francis Wikstrom papers (1968-1992) consist of materials from his time as a ski instructor along with his participation with the Professional Ski Instructors of America: Intermountain Division (PSIA) and the Intermountain Ski Instructors Association.

This collection was arranged into the following series: I. Professional Ski Instructors of America; II. Intermountain Ski Instructors Association; III. Teaching materials; and IV. Ski teaching magazines.
