Biographical Sketch

George Yasuda was born on 26 April, 1883, in Otani Itogun, Wakayama Ken, Japan. He emigrated to America in 1902, living briefly in Idaho before moving to Salt Lake City, Utah. He attended Ricks Academy in Rexburg, Idaho. He returned to Japan to marry Yasuko Miki (b. 1894). The couple made their home in the United States and became citizens in 1955. George died in 1979. Yasuko died in 1990.

The George and Yasuko Yasuda papers (1909-1941) contain photocopies of a biographical sketch, a letter and some photographs. The Yasudas were immigrants from Japan to the United States.
