Abstract

The Hans Martin Hansen papers (1889-1891) consist of transcripts and photocopies of his mission journal. Hans Martin Hansen (1856-1939) served his mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in his homeland Norway from 1889 to 1891. He was called when he was thirty-two years old. He was married and had four children at that time. Recorded in his journal are his daily activites, people he met, and news of the day.
