The Altrusa Club records (1927-1990) consist of scrapbooks kept by the Salt Lake City chapter of Altrusa International. The scrapbooks contain newspaper articles about club activities and members, photographs, awards received by the chapter, correspondence, member directories, and other materials pertaining to the club.

Historical Note

Founded in 1917, Altrusa is a service organization for business and professional women. Local clubs perform service projects and provide scholarships to international students studying in the United States. The Salt Lake City chapter was founded in 1923.
