The Nancy Geckler papers (1993-1994) consist of a twenty-page paper, "River of Hope," written by Nancy Geckler about her personal religious odyssey. Also included are two magazine articles, "Theorists to the Quantum Mechanical Wave: `Get Real'" (Science, vol. 29, March 12, 1993) and "News from Antiquity" (Ensign, January 1994).

Biographical Sketch

Nancy Geckler is a college-educated, married, housewife from South Carolina. A LDS convert, her religious search leads her to investigate and question the nature of reality, the possibility of quantum mechanics, and the "closed system of belief" in the LDS Church.
