Scope and Contents

The W. Keith Wilson map collection (1892) contains a map of the Johnson County Cattle War in Wyoming, 1892. This is a hand drawn map showing positions during the fighting between Nate Champion and Nick Rae v. members of the Wyoming Stock Growers Association at Kaycee, Wyoming, April 9, 1892. A note on the map gives the subsequent history of the "war."
