Historical Note

The United Nations Association of Utah (UNAU) was previously known as the Utah Association for the United Nations. This organization is a division of the UN. It is an autonomous state organization with its own program, but with its members participating as members of the American Association for the UN. The UNAU has an educational program built to inform and mobilize public opinion of the UN. It mainly functions to build support for constructive U.S. policies on matters of global concern. The majority of the members come from the metropolitan Salt Lake City area, some from Provo and Logan, and another group comes from Ogden.

Boxes 1-14 were donated in 1982 (6.25 linear feet).

Boxes 15-23 were donated in 1984 (4.5 linear feet).

Boxes 24-26 were donated in 1985 (1.25 linear feet).

Boxes 27-30 were donated in 1987 (3.5 linear feet).

Boxes 31-33 were donated in 2002 (1.5 linear feet).

Boxes 34-47 were donated in 2006 (4.5 linear feet).

Boxes 48-59 were donated in 2013 (6 linear feet).
