Biographical Sketch

Ralf R. Woolley was involved with the United States Geological Survey in determining water rights of the Colorado River. His surveys led him down to the lower Green River in determining those rights.

Abstract

The Ralf R. Woolley papers (1904-1930) consist of geographical surveys of the Green River for the purpose of determining water rights. Included are accounts of river trips by Woolley, H. Elwyn Blake Jr., and F. LeMoyne Page. Also inculded are a set of plate glass negatives that are part of the photo collection.
