The Louisa Thalmann Hasler autobiography [typescript] (1843-1897) discusses her life as an early convert from Switzerland to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, who settled in Mt. Pleasant, Utah. Her autobiography describes her early years in Switzerland, her conversion to the LDS Church with her husband, their emigration to Utah, and pioneering in Mt. Pleasant.

Biographical Sketch
Louisa Thalmann was born in the county of Thurgau, Parish Dussnang, Switzerland, in 1843. She married John Hasler in 1869, the same year they had both converted to the LDS faith. They left for Utah that same year and settled in Mt. Pleasant. Louisa served in the Relief Society for thirty-two years and had eight children.
