Scope and Contents

From the Collection: The Charles G. Beaudette papers (1933-2006) consist of Beaudette's writings and files on cold fusion. Included are assorted papers and publications collected by Beaudette, correspondence, notes, materials from the International Conferences on Cold Fusion, and news articles, among other papers. Also included are drafts and final editions of Beaudette's book, Excess Heat: Why Cold Fusion Research Prevailed, described by Sir Arthur Clarke as an "extremely important and timely book."

This collection has been kept in the strict order set by the donor. The numbering/lettering system on select folders and items correlates to the numbers/letters found on the original folders. Please see box 35, folder 1, for Beaudette's own archive listing and numbering system. All folders reflect the original titles given by the donor.
