Scope and Contents

From the Collection: The Louis Carl Barrett biography is titled, "A Story of Two Soldiers: One From the U.S. and One From Germany During World War II and Their Path Together Afterwards." The biography was compiled by Betty Jene Barrett with contributions from Louis Barrett, Herbert Knothe and Gerhard Knothe. The biography contains transcripts of Barrett's diary entries and information of the German Peenemunde Army Research Center during World War II.
