From the Collection: The Karl Banks essay consist of an undated typed and hand-written paper by Banks entitled "A Brief History of John Banks and the Morrisite Movement." He includes a biography of John Banks, a brief biographical sketch of Joseph Morris, and an account of events leading up to the death of the two men in June 1862, as well as a summary of events that followed.
