Scope and Contents

From the Collection: The Mike Korologos papers (1958-2005) contain documents generated by the Salt Lake Olympic Organizing Committee (SLOC) in securing and organizing the Winter Games hosted by Salt Lake City in 2002. Documents include an agreement with the University of Utah, J. Willard Marriott Library, to become the official repository of SLOC documents, correspondence, brochures, committee meeting minutes, subject files, newsclippings, magazine articles, and press releases. Additionally, a portion of the collection chronologically follows Utah's efforts in receiving the Olympics, which began as early as the 1960's.

Twenty-four hour advanced notice encouraged. Materials must be used on-site. Access to parts of this collection may be restricted under provisions of state or federal law.
