Scope and Contents

From the Collection: The David Sperry postcard album consists of 1 box containing 1 11x15" black album scrapbook with “Postal Souvenirs” debossed on the cover. It is numbered 616B and was commercially produced by Ideal Specialty Company from Chicago, Illinois. The album contains 187 black-and-white and color souvenir postcards depicting cities in the United States and in England. Subjects include: color illustrations of building exteriors and interiors in Salt Lake City, Utah; Omaha, Nebraska; Chicago, Illinois; Buffalo, New York; and skyscrapers in New York City, New York. The album also contains black-and-white illustrated and photograph postcards of street scenes and buildings in Liverpool, London, Leicester, and other cities in England.
