From the Collection: The Herbert S. Auerbach photograph collection consists of 2 boxes containing 591 black-and-white photograph prints. The collection contains photographs that primarily depict the Auerbach department store interiors and exteriors at its various locations in Salt Lake City, Utah, from its 1864 founding until 1940; portraits of members of the Auerbach family and unidentified other individuals; and photographs of an Auerbach family residence and trips taken by members of the Auerbach family and friends. The colleciton dates from approximatley 1900 to 1940.
