Scope and Contents

From the Collection: The George J. Janecek photograph collection consists of 2 oversize boxes containing 113 black-and-white photographs. Box 1 contains a photograph album called "Allied War Exhibition 1942". The title on the title page was changed in pencil to "The United Nations War Exhibition, February 1942." The photograph album was rebound by George R. Janecek prior to donation. Box 2 contains a portrait with the inscription: "To George J. Janecek with my thanks for devoted service to the United Nations from its earlist days New York December 14, 1953 Yours, T [signature illegible]"
