Scope and Contents

  1. 1-3: Road to "Mormon Gulch" and "Mormon Meadows" named after Bill Hickman who lived here from 1880-1883. Hickman and his three sons lived at the head of Baldwin Creek, eight miles northwest of Lander, WY in the Wind Rivers Mountains. The men ran horses in the surrounding area, photos taken July 1996.
  2. 4: Bill Hickman's burial place and monument are on private land down the hill and to the right in the bottom of Baldwin Creek, photo taken July 1996.
