Scope and Contents

  1. Photograph number 1: "Looking up the west slope of Provo Peak from the Rock-Slate Canyons saddle."
  2. Photograph number 2-3: "The basin at the head of Bartholomew Canyon. Provo Peak just out of picture to the left. This is an area of large and frequent avalanches."
  3. Photograph number 4: "The open slopes on the upper part of Provo Peak."
  4. Photograph number 5: "The head of Rock Canyon. A large avalanche has broken off on the slope immediately below the camera, and descended to the floor of the canyon."
  5. Photograph number 6: "Looking SSE from the Rock-Slate Canyon's saddle. Slide area No.7 is seen in the middle distance."
  6. Photograph number 7: "The east slope of Buckley Mountain, seen from the ridge of Corral Mountain. Slate Canyon to the right."
