Scope and Contents
The Dooly-Riser family papers consist of materials detailing the history of these families.
The genealogical records consist of limited information regarding birth and death information for the Player, Riser, Hamer, and McIntosh families. There is also cemetary plot certificates.
The recipe booklet contains handwritten instructions for making food such as tomato jelly, whole wheat muffins, souffle, veal steak, and ham battered in milk.
The family scrapbook contains news clippings documenting weddings, obituaries, and other events the Dooly and Riser family were involved in. Also included in the scrapbook are numerous photographs depicting the family over the years. There are images of homes, family gatherings, huntings, fishing, outings, and more.
