File — Box: 80, Folder: 10
Scope and Contents
- Clarence Tony Hewlett was born in Corinne, Utah. Hewlett grew up hunting duck on and around Great Salt Lake. When he was a teenager, Hewlett started working at the Duckville Gun Club with some of his friends. He eventually became the manager of the club. Hewlett describes the members of the club and talks about Duckville itself, the environment, the lodging, and how it changed over the years. Hewlett also describes plucking ducks and the kinds of decoys they would use when they hunted. Eventually, a gas leak forced the Duckville Gun Club to close. Hewlett also talks about a terrible accident he had as a young man when he was hunting with his friends.
