Scope and Contents
- Richard Etulain discusses his early life and interest in western history. He describes his education and his early career as a western historian. Dr. Etulain then recounts his early experiences with the Western History Association, including his time as president of the association. He talks about some memorable sessions of the Western History Association annual meeting. Dr. Etulain also explains some tensions he has witnessed between different schools of western history.
