Scope and Contents
- Alan Prasad was born to a family of mixed Indian-Portuguese-Anglo descent and raised in Fiji. He attended BYU-Hawaii and received a business degree, moved around the United States, and at the time of the interview was in a medical diagnostic program at Weber State University. He came to Utah in 1992. Mr. Prasad met his wife at BYU-H. He converted to the LDS faith as a child, though his parents remained Hindu. He discusses religion a little, but spends much of his time talking about language, education and ethnic identity.
