Durham (b. 1917) recalls his early life, his interest in and life-long career in music, his education, and his association with the University of Utah as dean of Fine Arts and in other capacities, 1940s-1980s. He discusses his association with Maurice Abravanel, Jay Welch, Alvin Gittins, Avard Fairbanks, George Dibble, and others.
