Scope and Contents

Alternate print of "Whispering Sands", a film by O. L. Tapp based on his interpretation of a recording of the song, "Shifting Whispering Sands." It shows scenes in a desert sand dune area, including dry bones and abandoned wagons, desert wildlife (snake, lizard, coyote), a cabin on fire, staged footage of dead men, etc. The dunes sequences were shot at Coral Pink Sand Dunes in Kane County, Utah. This version of the film features an alternate title sequence with solid background cards instead of video of sand and music instead of wind sounds.
