"Messages: 2002 Olympic Diary" - documentary, 2002
Item — video: 8
Scope and Contents
Adolescent filmmakers explore the affect the 2002 Olympic Games would have on Salt Lake City as it is perceived by the world, how the city might change to welcome those unfamiliar with its culture and what sort of involvement the Latter-Day Saint Church might have upon the Winter Games. Particular attention is given to conceptions about the state by outsiders due to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church), liquor laws, and diversity.
