Scope and Contents

This DVD contains two short narrative films, some publicity clips from local Salt Lake City television news broadcasts about the production of the shorts, Page's resume, a brief biographical video about Page (originally submitted to HBO's Project Greenlight contest), and a "director's reel" or montage of clips from Page's professional directing work:

1. "Water With Food Coloring"

Originally shot on 35mm film, this short piece was filmed in Salt Lake City by the crew of Touched by an Angel on their days off. Directed by Page, this piece is a spoof of the rigamarole of filmmaking. The piece features some of the cast and crew of Touched by an Angel in supporting roles. 16:00.

2. "Alyson's Closet"

Originally shot on 35mm film, this piece was also produced by members of the crew of Touched by an Angel during their off hours and features the actor Ossie Davis in a small role. The movie centers around a writer who can't overcome personal demons and break out of his writer's block. The film was shot in and around an apartment at Salt Lake City's Hillcrest Apartments in the Avenues. 30:00.

3. Director's reel

A short promotional piece consisting of clips collected from the above two pieces. This piece is a video resume designed to be sent out to prospective employers. 15:00.
