Scope and Contents

Everett Ruess was a young artist from Los Angeles who, in 1931, hitchhiked to Arizona where he wandered into the dessert alone and ultimately disappeared. This movie presents an artistic interpretation of the life of Everett Ruess through his journal entries, newspaper clippings, letters to and from loved ones, and live interviews with the people he met along his journey.
