Scope and Contents

This tape contains images from the Utah Ski Ball in 1988. A man, who seems to be the evening's master of ceremonies, speaks about the silent auction. He then introduces the following people: Spence Eccles, Craig Badami, the CEO of the U.S. Ski Association (Howard Peterson), the director of the U.S. Ski Education fund (John Wilson), and a few other names including two female athletes who join the M.C. on stage. The camera remains on the M.C. throughout this presentation. Suzy Harris Rytting addresses the audience. Next, the dance troupe from cassette 37 performs for the audience at the Ski Ball. The M.C., who introduces Merrill Osmond of the Osmond Family, follows them. Mr. Osmond sings a number of songs and interacts with the audience.
