Scope and Contents

Mutual Broadcasting Systems brings us live and direct coverage from the House of Representatives. Presidents Johnson opens his address with a brief tribute to John F. Kennedy in which he urges congressmen to continue on with President Kennedys domestic movements. He then moves onto foreign policies discussing the national interest, national action and expansion of foreign trade. After President Johnsons address, an excerpt from America the Beautiful is aired.
